Eight Las Vegas Clark County schools received honors

Eight Las Vegas Clark County schools received honors in the Magnet Schools of America Merit Awards for their high academic standards. Bringing Clark County the proof of it’s academic nature.

There were more than 50 schools around the country which received an Excellence Award. Out of thses 50 schools three of those schools were in Clark County Las Vegas and are:-

Jim Bridger Academy of Math, Science and Technology Clark County Las Vegas,

Roy Martin Middle School Clark County Las Vegas

Sandy Searles Miller Academy of International Studies Clark County Las Vegas.

Five other Clark County Las Vegas schools received a Distinction Award. Those schools are:

The Advanced Technologies Academy Clark County Las Vegas,

Jo Mackey Academy of Leadership and Global Communication Clark County Las Vegas,

Mabel Hoggard Magnet School, Southeast Career and Technical Academy Clark County Las Vegas,

Walker Bracken Magnet Empowerment School for Math & Science through Technology Clark County Las Vegas.

Only 119 schools nationwide received the awards making this a wonderful triumph and proving the academic quality of Las Vegan schools and academies.

With so many foreclosures in Clark county Las Vegas this leaves plenty of school places available at these superior academic schools.
